🌊 Splashing Success: Our PAWS Water Safety Lesson!

We were thrilled to welcome the amazing Rosie O'Regan from PAWS (Primary Aquatics Water Safety )to talk to all our classes about the vital importance of staying safe around water.

Rosie ran brilliant, interactive workshops with different groups throughout the day. Highlights included the hands-on demonstrations—especially learning how to properly use and throw a lifebuoy! The kids loved getting involved, and it was a fantastic, practical way to learn lifesaving skills.

Rosie left us with an incredible tool to keep in mind whenever we are near rivers, lakes, or the sea. It’s the SAFE acronym, and it’s super easy to remember:

Stay Away From Edge!

Whether it's a summer paddle or a walk by the canal, keeping our distance from the water's edge is the number one rule.
