From Pitch to Podium: A Thrilling Finale to the Ballyvary NS School Soccer League!

What a way to wrap up the year! The annual School Soccer League is always a highlight of the summer term, and this year’s tournament was absolutely no exception.

Every year, this league brings our whole school community together, creating memories that our pupils will cherish long after they leave. It is an incredible team effort across the board:

The Players: Our energetic 2nd, 3rd, and 4th class pupils gave it their absolute all on the pitch.
The Managers: Our responsible 6th class pupils stepped up to coach, strategy-plan, and motivate their teams.
The Crew: Our fantastic 5th class took care of the crucial behind-the-scenes work—lining the pitches, managing the bibs, refereeing the matches with fair play, and capturing every epic moment on camera!

Friday Finals Fever!

On Friday, June 12th, the tension and excitement reached an all-time high as we hosted both the Shield and Cup finals. The atmosphere was electric, and the talent on display was phenomenal.

🛡️ The Shield Final: France vs. Scotland

This was an absolute cracker of a match. Both teams played with immense heart and skill, but after a hard-fought battle, Scotland emerged as the well-deserved Shield winners!

🏆 The Cup Final: Brazil vs. Germany

A classic international rivalry brought to life on our school pitch! It was a thrilling, edge-of-your-seat game, but it was Germany who took the crown as this year's Cup champions.
