Our school community came together to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge in a truly joyful and vibrant way.

Pupils took to the stage to showcase their talents in front of a delighted audience of fellow students, teachers, SNAs and helpers. We were treated to a wonderful variety of performances, including Amhráin, Rincí, Dánta, ag seinm uirlisí ceoil, Rapanna srl. The confidence and enthusiasm on display were fantastic, and the children thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to perform.

In the afternoon, the celebrations continued as some classes gathered in the sports hall for a lively céilí. The hall was filled with energy as pupils danced along to traditional music from Johnny Connolly, including Shoe the Donkey, The Stack of Barley and The Siege of Ennis. It was a wonderful way to experience and celebrate Irish culture together.

To mark the occasion, many pupils dressed in green, adding even more colour and festive spirit to the day.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the celebrations so enjoyable. Bhí lá den scoth againn!
