Welcome to Autumn in 2nd Class!
As part of our autumn learning, 2nd Class went outdoors on an exciting nature walk to hunt for sméara dubha - blackberries.
The children had a fantastic time spotting ripe berries, picking them carefully, and bringing them back to class. After a thorough washing; children enjoyed a delicious, fresh autumn treat!
We are having so much fun exploring the changing seasons, learning our Irish vocabulary, and discovering all the wonderful things autumn brings.
