There was great excitement this week as 2nd Class teamed up with 6th Class to create colourful bird feeders from recycled milk cartons. After learning about common garden birds and how to care for wildlife, the children got to work designing and painting their feeders using bright acrylic paints. Well done and congratulations to our U11 & U13 teams who took part in the Credit Union Quiz on the 7th of February in A.T.U Castlebar! 🎉 Our pupils took part in the quiz, answering a range of questions across topics such as general knowledge, history and science. Well done to the students who represented Ballyvary NS and competed in the School Swimming Gala at Galway’s Salthill Leisure Centre on Sunday, 1st February. They put in excellent performances across their events!! Three swimmers qualified for the All-Ireland Championships in Dublin, a fantastic achievement. Best of luck as they head to the All Irelands!
