

Swimming Success in Salthill 🏊♂️
Well done to the students who represented Ballyvary NS and competed in the School Swimming Gala at Galway’s Salthill Leisure Centre on Sunday, 1st February. They put in excellent performances across their events!! Three swimmers qualified for the All-Ireland Championships in Dublin, a fantastic achievement. Best of luck as they head to the All Irelands!

St Brigid’s Day Crosses 🌿
We had a wonderful morning on Friday celebrating St Brigid’s Day by making traditional crosses from rushes. The school was buzzing as pupils got hands-on with this much-loved tradition. We were delighted to welcome some past pupils, who kindly visited the school to give a helping hand with the cross-making. Connacht Finals Badminton Success 🏸
What a day in Castlerea, on January 28th 2026!! Our boys' and girls' badminton teams took to the courts for the Connacht Schools Finals, showcasing skill, determination, and teamwork. After a series of intense matches, the girls team won their final & with the boys team reaching a semi final it means both teams have secured their spots in the All-Ireland Finals in Baldoyle, Dublin on March 4th!!
