Looking after the Ballyvary Birds :-)
There was great excitement this week as 2nd Class teamed up with 6th Class to create colourful bird feeders from recycled milk cartons. After learning about common garden birds and how to care for wildlife, the children got to work designing and painting their feeders using bright acrylic paints. With wonderful help and guidance from 6th Class, the cartons were carefully cut, decorated and finished with string so they can be hung outdoors. It was fantastic to see such teamwor
